On 12 June 2015, Octagonal Plc (OCT) issued a document entitled “Proposed Acquisition and Shareholder Circular” in connection with the proposed acquisition of Global Investment Strategy Limited.
Within this document was a note that explained that Global Investment Strategy Limited had a number of legacy investments including an investment in an entity called City Golf Clubs Limited which was recorded at a carrying value of £240,000 as shown below:
